Marshmallow root is another mucilagey ingredient. They say one can become sensitised to fenugreek if one uses it too often, so I thought I’d switch them between washes (adding catnip to the rotation if it works). Today I’m using the fenugreek again though, to try and pinpoint the effect it has. I’m also using shikakai for the first time though, so it’s not ultra-scientific.

Theoretically, I should be interested in the catnip experiment too, since I have terrible split ends. But for some reason, I can’t get excited about it … :/
