Have you been watching Friends?

Betty - that does seem logical, yes. One wonders why it hasn't caught on...

The blood question starts to become a universal circle of questions, and it makes my head spin. A better question would be the one that I keep putting to knowledgeable people, but they seem to resist answering. Could you -- or, putting it another way, surely you could -- breastfeed yourself? I don't mean biomechanically, as in could you kiss your own elbow: I mean, if you consumed your own breastmilk you'd be creating demand, and therefore you'd be increasing supply, and you'd be nice and hydrated from all the breastmilk, so surely you could live that way for years at a time, come the revolution, say? Anybody?

I don't think that urine would be at all beneficial to a wound of any kind. While it may be sterile at first, it doesn't contain any antibacterial quality that would allow it to remain sterile on leaving the human body.

I seem to recall that when the Vietnamese would build their spike pit traps in the jungle, they would urinate onto the spikes to increase the chances of the poor victim contracting a nasty infection.
