The really salacious train-wreck ones I don't mind so much; I figure their gossipy component makes up for the banality of my nearest and dearest's lives (no offense, nearest and dearest, but how often do <em>your</em> uncles get arrested at your child's christening for bigamy? Or... stuff?). It's the relatively boring, does-my-nine-year-old-son-have-hearing-loss, is-my-partner-committed-to-his-job ones that stump me: I click on them for no apparent reason, read four pages of replies and then think "Hang on, I don't know these people or this subject and have nothing helpful to say about it whatsoever, so why do I care?" The funny mom blog was <a href="http://wendiaarons.com/" rel="nofollow">Wendi Aarons</a>. Sadly, I've read it all now. :p I know!
