I don't recall ever doing competitions when I was learning the cello. I probably would have burst into tears halfway through my piece ... I've been in the audience for some though and yes, they are scary. Oh, the things I would do if I had the time! I have some holiday time I should take in a month or so. I don't have plans to go away anywhere interesting - just take the time to finish off all those half-done things! I shall try not to clash with your hairdo. ;)

I’ve been in the audience for some though and yes, they are scary.
